Julia + Jeff’s wedding day might have been their “Plan C”, but it was an absolutely amazing day!
These two had their first “date” at only 12 years old, so it’s safe to say this day was being dreamed of for a longgg time, and if that’s not the cutest thing you’ve ever heard than I don’t know what is… And while it may have been years later when they actually fell in love, I think something in their souls always knew.
It was a picture perfect September Monday in Connecticut when they tied the knot on the beautiful grounds of the Wadsworth Mansion surrounded by just 20 of their closest friends and family. You couldn’t have asked for better weather if you tried and I enjoyed every minute of photographing these two all over the Mansion’s stunning property and with the addition of Jeff’s families 1930’s antique car, it added the perfect touch of Gatsby charm to the day and Julia dawned a surprise ‘dress change’ with the addition of a flowing butterfly winged tulle ballgown skirt to her Haley Paige dress, which made photos twice as fun!
Julia + Jeff were one of my very first 2020 couples when they booked way back in 2018 and I had been so excited to work with them for so long, but certainly no one could have seen what this year would bring. These two proved that nothing can stop love; not even a pandemic. They made the absolute most out of celebrating this incredible day and I have no doubt that these two are going to live an incredible life together filled with so much love!!
